Held by a leading sports and technology news outlet, the SportTechie Awards honor today’s leading players who are leveraging the latest innovations to disrupt the traditional sports industry. This year, our very own CEO and founder, Andrew Paradise, was named as a finalist for the “Most Innovative Executive” award!
Truly, when it comes to innovating at the intersection of sports and technology, Andrew’s the expert. By founding Skillz, he pioneered an entirely new industry that leveraged the ubiquity of mobile devices and the exciting, competitive nature of sports to create the world’s most accessible eSports platform. As CEO, he led Skillz to become the No.1 fastest growing company in America – with a three-year revenue growth rate of over 50,000%, we were the first eSports company ever to top the Inc. 5000. Skillz was also the first and only eSports company to be named to the prestigious CNBC Disruptor 50.

With a portfolio of six eSports patents, Skillz is constantly producing new technology to advance our mission of making eSports for everyone. Just this year, Skillz introduced the world’s first eSports ticker to enhance the quality of live-streaming content, as well as a new cross-app chat system to connect the world’s 2.6 billion mobile gamers.
Andrew is one of five finalists, alongside four other executives of leading sports and technology companies: Formula E, Grabyo, Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment, and Catapult Sports.
We’re thrilled that Andrew has been nominated for this high honor, since we experience his innovative thinking and leadership style firsthand on a day-to-day basis.
