Skillz Takes on Intel Capital Sports Technology Day!
Intel Capital recently invited 15 companies to attend “Intel Capital Sports Technology Day.” The companies were asked to present and demo their products that were vastly improving the sports experience for the entire ecosystem, including athletes, fans, and brands.
Skillz was honored to be invited, and to be able to showcase our innovative competitive eSports platform that continues to change not only the eSports landscape, but the sports landscape as a whole.
Our CEO and founder, Andrew Paradise, presented on the future of eSports, how Skillz has built the end-to-end infrastructure for any game to become a mobile eSport, and how mobile democratizes eSports competition for the world’s 2.6 billion mobile gamers.
In addition to Andrew’s presentation, our Director of Business Development and Communications Lead also led a demo of our live-streaming capabilities, illustrating how we provide a real-time view into large-scale tournaments in a variety of Skillz-powered games, including “Bubble Shooter! Tournaments,” “Strike! Bowling,” and “Mini Golf Stars!”.
Thanks, Intel, for having us and for recognizing the importance of technology in the ever-changing sports industry!
