This annual conference, hosted by the Casual Games Association, brings together up-and-coming gaming innovations with industry influencers and developers. The goal of the conference it to create meaningful partnerships, as well as connect passionate individuals within the industry. This year, Skillzians noticed that eSports were a hot topic among attendees!
“It was exciting to feel the energy associated with the growth of competitive online gaming at the conference, with eSports as a prevalent theme across a number of sessions,” said Chris Coppe, Skillz Enterprise Account Executive. “There was also a cool blend of established studios and indie game developers represented, each with unique visions for their games.”
While our Developer Relations team was busy meeting with game developers and sharing the news about our disruptive mobile eSports platform, Andrew participated on a panel with other industry leaders entitled “The Future of eSports and Business Opportunities.”

During the conference, Skillzians had a jam-packed schedule meeting people, attending informative lectures, and learning about new technologies that are making an impact in eSports and gaming. As a leader in the mobile eSports, Skillz received overwhelming interest during the conference.
“What sets us apart from others in the mobile space is that Skillz is able to provide a meaningful revenue stream for developers that truly enhances the user experience,” said Jackie Yang, Enterprise Account Executive.

“The ‘Magic Kingdom’ indeed – where else does one see Mickey, Minnie and Mario under one roof?!” commented Elena Provine, Enterprise Account Executive. “We received very strong feedback from leading developers about their excitement in Skillz technology, as well as tangible interest in the transformative role Skillz plays in bringing competitive tournament-based play to mobile.”
